Kathryn Elliott Pullins
Managing Director
Mrs.
Pullins serves as Managing Director of the Pullins Group LLC and as
operations director of the affiliated Pullins Law Firm. Prior to
beginning her work with the Pullins Group LLC and the Pullins Law Firm,
Mrs. Pullins managed the Mount Vernon-Knox County Chamber of Commerce
and the Area Development Foundation for almost seven years.
During that time she gained valuable experience and expertise in
all aspects of small business and association marketing and management
including membership development, special event fundraising, and
coalition building. Some of her achievements that contributed to the
financial success of the Chamber include the following:
- Increased Member Firms from 350 to over 500.
- Increased Membership Retention from 76% to 93%
- Increased Annual Dues Income 200%
- Increased Project Income Profits Six-Fold
- Tripled Safety Council Participation in 12 Months
Mrs. Pullins also substantially increased benefits for the members:
- Developed An Annual Business Expo
- Implemented a Workers Compensation Group Rating Package
- Implemented a Member Health Insurance Program
- Implemented a Member Telephone Package
- Printed and Distributed a Membership Directory County Wide
- Developed A Chamber Website
Mrs. Pullins has also served as the President and Chief
Operating Officer of the Ohio Taxpayers Association and OTA Foundation.
As President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ohio Car Rental
Association and was a high level gubernatorial appointee in Ohio State
Government.
Mrs. Pullins graduated from The Ohio State University with a
Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She graduated from the six year
program Institute of Organization Management held at Notre Dame
University in 1999. She earned a Master of Science in August 2003 from
Franklin University in Marketing and Communications.
